More progress on the 8x10 enlarger. I’m almost done with the code for the arduino control unit. The control module will be connected to the head by a DMX512 encoder and XLR cable. DMX512 is a lighting control standard used in stage lighting, and by using it for this, the controller will work for any size head, as long as it has a DMX512 input. if you want to take a peek at the code, you can see it here, as well as use an arduino simulator to run the program on a virtual arduino. If you’d like some instruction on the controls, send me a message. https://wokwi.com/arduino/projects/302878866181980685 There are only 3 things that need to be added to the program. First is input settings for a manual mode, where the controller acts like a normal timer. Second is the DMX512 encoder connections, but I can’t simulate that on the virtual arduino, and last is the CMY conversion settings, but those can’t be made until I can take spectrum readings of the light output. (I’m still looking for someone with a color meter, so any help on that front is still appreciated)
