HIP HOP WITH DANIELLE! ___ THURSDAYS 6-7PM ON ZOOM AGES 10+ (YOUNGER STUDENTS MAY JOIN WITH PARENT SUPPORT) COST: $40-80/SESSION, SLIDING SCALE ___ ___ **Session 1, September 10-October 1: Breaking Down Popular Dances** Students will learn popular dances from Tik Tok while also adding on to the choreography. This is a great class for folks who want to learn popular moves and expand upon their knowledge with modern hip hop. **Session 2, October 8-29: Zumba! ** Students will learn the 4 basic dance styles in Zumba: Reggaeton, Cumbia, Salsa and Merengue. This is a great class for folks who want to learn Latin styles mixed with hip hop influences AND get a great work out! ___ **To register**, please emails programs@nohoarts.org. Native to Cleveland, **Danielle Smith** is an artist-activist who has taught and choreographed in San Francisco, Northampton and Cleveland within the past 5 years. Danielle is an innovative dancer and creator that has experience working with diverse groups of people and has a passion for creating work that speaks to social justice and community engagement. Danielle taught hip hop at the Center 2018-2019, and was the assistant director of ArtPlay! in 2019 (and was supposed to return this year!). Although this year has brought unexpected challenges to all, she hopes her class can be a space for students to relax, have fun and express themselves!
