Unlock the magic of your voice this summer! Join Heart of the Valley Chorus for a high energy half-day program where young singers don’t just sing - they create, experiment, and shine.
Students entering grades 4 - 9 will explore the "science of sound” with hands-on projects that bring music to life. The morning program will include art & science exploration, musical games and challenges that are designed for singers of all abilities, to learn more about vocal sound and a cappella singing.
Our staff of highly trained a cappella singers, including former teachers and summer program coordinators, ensure a supportive, low pressure environment where making new friends is just as important as making music. Your child will leave with confidence, a few “silly songs”, and a brand new passion for singing. Campers will be invited to showcase their learning for friends and family in a culminating program at the end of the week.
Singers entering grade 10 and up are eligible to apply to attend and serve as unpaid interns and enjoy the program free of charge. Letters of volunteer service will be issued. * interns apply here *
A sliding fee scale is available for all. We believe cost should never be a barrier to music. We offer sliding scale ticket pricing to help make this program accessible to everyone. If you’re able to pay a little more, your contribution helps offset the cost for families who are not. Thank you for supporting a community where all are welcome. If the registration cost is still a hardship, please reach out to Stephanie at heartofthevalleychorus@gmail.com — we’re happy to work with families to make attendance possible.
