This 10 mile point-to-point race runs in peak fall foliage season from Amherst to Northampton. Starting in the heart of the UMass Amherst campus with a run through downtown, the bulk of the race is along the scenic Norwottuck Trail, a paved bike trail with generous net downhill elevation and panoramic views of the Holyoke Range and the Connecticut River Valley.
Take it on solo or as part of a 2-person relay, with the exchange at the 5 mile point.
A highlight of the 10 mile race course is crossing the CT River on the Northampton Lattice Truss Bridge before running through downtown Northampton to finish at the historic Union Station.
The NoHo 5K offers a relatively flat lollipop course, starting and finishing in downtown Northampton, a great option for runners and walkers alike.
Participants in the 10 Mile (individuals & 2-person relay) will earn a custom finisher medal and receive a high quality long sleeve technical shirt. 5K participants will receive a high quality short sleeve technical shirt. All participants will enjoy an awesome post-race party featuring delicious food and ice cold beer!
TRI-STATE TRIPLE: A great excuse to explore southern New England and keep moving through the fall! Pick and choose the distance of choice from three signature events that provide flexibility to meet new goals. Start at the Surftown Half Marathon, 5K & Relay, presented by Westerly Hospital, then join the premier annual tradition at the Eversource Hartford Marathon, Half Marathon, Charity 5K or Team 26.2 Relay in October, and wrap up here in November.
