Join us for our weekly swing soiree! 7-8 Dance Lesson: 1st & 3rd Tuesdays: Beginner 2nd & 4th Tuesdays: Intermediate 5th Tuesdays: All Levels 8-10 DJ'd Swing Dance with DJ RaggMOP and special guests Please feel free to bring food/drink to share, but plan accordingly (i.e. bring any necessary utensils, plates, cups for sharing, and help us keep the space neat). This will be a true potluck--what's available will be whatever folks may choose to bring, or not. Only $10 for all the fun! Parking: limited parking in church lot; unlimited metered street parking (free after 5 on Elm Street) Please use the SIDE ENTRANCE on the RIGHT. Head down the stairs to the undercroft "Trinity Room" and swing your heart out. Why "Swing 48"? The event address, of course, but also the Django Reinhardt tune, the 4:4 time of Swing music and 8-count basic of Lindy Hop, and the year 1948 (when swing was still king, but transitioning). We also pay homage to the former Swing 46 jazz club in NYC, which closed its doors at the end of 2025.
