The Zachary Bartolomei Trio takes on the classic saxophone, bass, and drums format of chamber jazz, interpreting songbook standards and jazz compositions in a freewheeling, improvisatory style. Influenced by the sounds of John Coltrane, Jackie McLean, and Eric Dolphy, ZBT creates a musical experience centered on spontaneity and interiactivity. This fresh-faced Pioneer Valley ensemble features Zachary Bartolomei on alto saxophone and Ryan Fess on bass.
