Music

Formed in Sleepy Hollow, New York, the Slambovians' "songs are imbued with mystical stirrings and idealism." - NY Times. . They charm from the first note with thought provoking lyrics and a vibe that feeds the soul. Fiercely independent, they present both quirky Americana and Zen-like anthems in a universe entirely of their own making. Likened to an array of artists including the Waterboys, Jethro Tull, and The Decemberists, with an exotic instrumental arsenal. Of note, new Slambovian drummer Felipe Torres played with Carmine Appice's SLAMM, Davy Jones, and David Cassidy). Otherwise the Slambovians are: Joziah Longo - songwriter /vocals/guitar/harmonica, Sharkey McEwen - guitar/mandolin, multi-instrumentalist Tink Lloyd - accordion /cello/ukelele/theremin, and melodica. The band's 6th album is "A Very Unusual Head."
