The Friendship Band Friendsgiving Fundraiser at The Iron Horse on Monday, November 3 2025

Friendship Band Friendsgiving is a music-fueled party with a purpose! The Friendship Band and Valley funk powerhouse Soul Magnets light up the stage to raise support for the performing arts at Whole Children and Milestones—afterschool and weekend programs where people with disabilities shine.

The Friendship Band is an inclusive group of musicians with and without disabilities who bring pure passion, energy and connection to every stage they step on. Together for more than ten years, they’ve built a loyal following with their mix of covers and originals that celebrate music’s power to unite. They’ve shared the stage with indie icons Yo La Tengo and, for the past two summers, have been crowd favorites at Transformance at Look Park. The Friendship Band shows what’s possible when community, creativity, and friendship come together in harmony.

Soul Magnets is a horn-heavy 9-piece ensemble, playing a mix of old-school, funk and neo-soul originals, deep covers, and dancefloor favorites.

They've appeared around the Valley at the Green River Festival, Treehouse Brewery Summer Stage, The Drake, Luthier's Co-op,  Stone Church, New City Brewery, Millpond Live, and at TransPerformance performing some of our favorite music: Prince, Earth Wind & Fire, and the Superfly soundtrack!
