Professor Jay Ducharme will take you on a creative journey, composing an orchestral piece before your very eyes.[nbsp] He will highlight the tools and techniques, both new and old, that have helped composers develop their musical ideas.[nbsp] The result will be a new classical piece for our entertainment and enlightenment.
Prof. Ducharme has already premiered a requiem, a mass, and is about to introduce a string quartet.
This will be the third in a series of five in Musical Potpourri, The Hampshire Music Club's annual music appreciation series.[nbsp] The cost is included in a series subscription.[nbsp] The admission charge for individual sessions[nbsp] is $15, payable by cash or check at the door.[nbsp] There will be a brief Q [&] A, and refreshments will be served.
The Hampshire Music Club is your classical music meeting place in the Pioneer Valley.
