Professor Jay Ducharme will take you on a creative journey, composing an orchestral piece before your very eyes.  He will highlight the tools and techniques, both new and old, that have helped composers develop their musical ideas.  The result will be a new classical piece for our entertainment and enlightenment.

Prof. Ducharme has already premiered a requiem, a mass, and is about to introduce a string quartet.

This will be the third in a series of five in Musical Potpourri, The Hampshire Music Club's annual music appreciation series.  The cost is included in a series subscription.  The admission charge for individual sessions  is $15, payable by cash or check at the door.  There will be a brief Q & A, and refreshments will be served.
