Award-winning pie baker, Leslee Nuttelman, will demonstrate a wide variety of pie crust designs using cookie cutters and common kitchen utensils to bring an artists’ touch to any pie, bringing it from the ordinary to the spectacular.[nbsp][nbsp]We’ll be making three new holiday pies that nod to tradition, but combine unexpected twist of new flavors.
Cranberry Lime Pie The spirit of key lime in the guise of a luscious cranberry curd.[nbsp][nbsp]The contract between the gingersnap press-in crust and the tart filling is pure genius, topped with sugared cranberries.
Bruleed Bourbon-Maple Pumpkin Pie This culinary mash-up of crème brulee and pumpkin pie, with a hint of bourbon and maple is both surprising and delicious.[nbsp][nbsp]
Brown-Butter Pecan Pie with Rum and Espresso[nbsp][nbsp]Brown butter brings out nuttiness of the pecans, while the bite of rum and slight bitterness of espresso balance out the sweetness.
