**On June 5, 6, and 7 at the Northampton Center for the Arts @ 33 Hawley, Amherst Ballet Theatre Company presents their spring show, ‘Shatter Into Light’ - a feast for the senses of classical dance and music with sets and costumes.** ‘Shatter Into Light’ features original choreography Mikayla Archambeau, the Director of Amherst Ballet, performed by some 25 dancers (members of the Company as well as her students, ages 5-75), set to string quartets by Shostakovich, Villa-Lobos, Amy Beach, and Sato Matsui, complete with sets and costumes. Violinists Laura Arpiainen and Hillary Dumond, violist Geoffrey Archambeau, and cellist Rebecca Hartka headline the quartet - all local lights.
