Dust off your dancing shoes and get ready for a night out on the farm! Just Roots, a Greenfield-based farm and food access organization, will host a Hootenanny fundraiser on Saturday, October 3rd from 7:00 - 10:00 pm. The event is a celebration of community and the local harvest and takes place in their historic barn.

Celebration Brass Band of Vermont will get the party going with vibrant New Orleans-style brass band music and dancing.

Guests can enjoy local beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks from Bernardston-based Incandescent Brewing. Hearthstone Artisan Bakery will serve wood-fired pizzas and additional light fare generously donated by local businesses will be available.

The evening also includes a silent auction featuring gifts and services from local restaurants, artists, massage therapists, tattoo artists and more.

Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door and can be purchased at justroots.org. Each ticket includes pizza and snacks. Alcoholic drinks are available for purchase.

All event proceeds directly support Just Roots’ mission to make local food accessible to everyone. Just Roots provides affordable local food to households through its Franklin County CSA, and statewide Food is Medicine programs.
