Polar Plunge Fundraiser for The Palestinian House of Friendship ___ On New Years Day January 1st 12 noon at Musante Beach in Leeds Massachusetts all are invited to participate, sponsor and spectate at the 2ND ANNUAL POLAR PLUNGE for the Palestinian House of Friendship (PHF). The fundraiser will support PHF’s work in providing summer camps and many other activities for children in Nablus and the surrounding refugee camps. Start your year courageously by taking a Polar Plunge into the river at Robert's Meadow Reservoir at Musante Beach in Leeds with many other plungers. Wear a tutu! Or your wetsuit! Starting at 12 noon sharp with a countdown by MC Bob Flaherty, host of the Morning Show on WHMP plungers will jump into the Roberts Meadow Reservoir at Musante Beach. Special guest State Representative Lindsay Sabadosa will be there to cheer us on! Participants should bring anything that can be changed out of quickly, swimming gear, and warm clothes to get back into immediately after your dip. Bring blankets to keep warm and change behind. Complementary Hot Chocolate will be provided. Any ice will be cleared to make easy access to water.
