Playin' For The Horse ft. Tom & Corrie, Lisa Palumbo Band, + The 997s at The Iron Horse on Monday, April 27 2026

Tom and Corrie bring a high-energy mix of rock classics, folk favorites, and original songs, all driven by tight harmonies and a love of getting the crowd involved. Their sets blend old and new so everyone hears something they recognize and something fresh to enjoy. Whether it’s a sing-along anthem or a feel-good groove, they focus on great songs, strong musicianship, and creating a fun, connected atmosphere that keeps audiences smiling and singing along.

The 997’s are a dynamic group of talented local musicians brought together through their shared membership in the Northampton Elks Lodge No. 997, where their passion for music and community first sparked their collaboration. Formed out of a desire to support their lodge while doing what they love, the band has grown into a lively musical force known for energizing audiences and bringing people together. Their sound is an eclectic, danceable blend of Southern Rock, Blues, and party-ready Tex-Mex favorites, creating a fun, feel-good atmosphere wherever they perform. Whether playing for lodge events or the wider community, The 997’s deliver spirited performances rooted in camaraderie, tradition, and a genuine love of music.

As per “The Valley Advocate’:  Florence singer/ songwriter Lisa Palumbo ( piano, guitar) and her band provide a mix of upbeat pop and folk-rock songs that are quite immediate in their display of charm.  Backed by bandmates Tom Sturm (acoustic guitar, vocals), Conor Dowling (bass, vocals), Lesley Smith (vocals), Joe Boyle (electric guitar) and Greg Eramo ( drums),  most of Palumbo’s songs are very hummable melodies and lyrics that focus on her day-to-day life. It’s the kind of music that feels timeless, even if you’re hearing it for the first time.
