Pianoganza II - A four-pianist concert! Improvisation & Compositions Fri, April 10, 2026 The Hidden Temple Arts & Industry - Florence Suite #320 Doors 7:00 Music 8:00 $5-25 notaflof Glenn Smith - Elemental Movement Reverie Glenn has been dabbling on piano for 40 years, improvising the hours away and receiving nourishment from the tones emerging. take a peek at some from recent years: https://soundseeds.com/video#solo-piano-improvisations Paul Vidich - Out/Cou rageous Emotional Improv Each time Paul approaches the piano, it is with raw presence, sensitive to winds of emotion blowing through him. Almost always with an element of the absurd, yet still elevating the spirit and often ethereal. I never know what to expect with Paul's performances, and neither does he. Daniel Wininger - Dreamy Minimalist Compositions Hey, it's me! I've been composing on the piano since I was 10ish, even before my lessons at age 16. I still compose. My style draws from minimalism, blues, Keith Jarrett, Bach, Habib Koite, and a bunch of other music. I like making mathematical music. I also sometimes dream melodies and compose pieces around them. Chris Gentes - Modern Jazz / Baroque I met Chris on the street in Northampton as he was busking with his saxophone. Or was it at Cafe Evolution in Florence? All my conversations with him about music reveal a level of knowledge way more intricate than anyone I'd ever met. So it wasn't a surprise, but of course pleasant, when I heard his piano playing for the first time at 1 Amber Lane, and heard something so well-crafted and warm. I'm excited for him to be more widely heard. From his website: Chris Gentes is an independent artist, musician, composer, and inventor hailing from Western Massachusetts (413 area code). He’s a multifaceted creator who’s been deeply immersed in visual art, experimental music, video, and writing for years—think paintings, digital publications, and wild synth experiments.
