Come join us to celebrate the New Year for the Animals, Rosh Hashanah La'Behemot!
This holiday is celebrated on the 1st of Elul, one month before Rosh Hashanah. It is a day to reflect on our relationships with animals: domesticated, wild, and those who support our human lifestyles. There will be snacks, readings, songs, a slideshow of participants' animals, and the sound of the shofar.
The suggested donation is $18, to be divided evenly between Beit Ahavah and the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation.
If you would like to have your pet include in the slide show, please send a photo to Joan Kurtz (librariankurtz@gmail.com), including your name and the animal's name.
