Krissie & The Kranks at The Parlor Room February 8th, 2026 Krissie & The Kranks are a Brooklyn-based jazz collective that transports audiences into a bygone era with their playful renditions of vintage jazz classics from the 1920s through the 1940s. Fronted by the dynamic Krissie Nagy, the group brings timeless swing to life with authentic flair. For their December 8 show at The Parlor Room, Krissie brings along a fantastic lineup: • Darren Solomon on guitar • Rafe Wolman on violin (a Northampton local!) • Nathan Hasebly on upright bass • Billy Novick on clarinet and sax This one’s meant for dancing — most of the chairs are coming out so the room can move. And if you’re new to swing dancing (or just want a refresher), Krissie will teach a quick, easy two-step/6-count Lindy lesson about 30 minutes before the show. No experience necessary, just bring your feet and a willingness to have fun. Come ready to dance, listen, or a little of both.
