A night of daring, acoustical majesty from two thunderheads of the contemporary, original composition world, Blum and Maginski perform in the Experimental Performance Arena at the Anchor House of Artists. Critic Massimo Ricci describes the experience of the New York City pianist as that of "persnickety furiousness flowing so magnificently that the resultant masses of superimposed harmonies nearly depict a ground for contemplation." Artforum Magazine wrote, "Meginsky juggles off-kilter patterns of undulating bass, prickly sine pulses, and shards of white noise to build rhythmic worlds of dizzying density, depth, and textural variety."
