This introductory 2-class series is designed for individuals who are experiencing low back issues and are seeking gentle, supportive methods to improve flexibility, relieve tension, and increase strength. Iyengar yoga, known for its precise alignment and use of props, is particularly well-suited for therapeutic applications. In these classes, participants will be guided through a series of foundational poses with modifications tailored to alleviate discomfort and promote spinal health. The instructor will provide step-by-step guidance, focusing on posture alignment, core stability, and mindful breathing techniques to foster body awareness and support lower back wellness.
No prior yoga experience is required, making this class suitable for beginners or those new to Iyengar yoga.
