We are trilled to welcome back Alka Kanoujia of India House Restaurant.[nbsp][nbsp]Many of our students will remember her warmth and humor, but especially her inspired cooking.[nbsp][nbsp]Alka will be joined by Anjula, her talented daughter. Together this duo will create a room full of sweet aromas and a flavorful meal to remember.[nbsp][nbsp]Be sure to take notes, you’ll want to recreate these dishes at home.
Anari Aloo Chaat,[nbsp][nbsp]Appetizer (Gf, Vegetarian)
Simply lip-smacking! A famous street food of crisped Potatoes, fresh herbs gently tossed in zingy seasonings [&] garnished with fresh Pomegranate pearls.
Sultry Soy Nuggets (Textured vegetarian protein) Gf, vegetarian
A precious gift from my maternal grandmother![nbsp] A unique concoction of marinated Soy nuggets in a hearty curry[nbsp][nbsp] sauce of blended onions, tomatoes [&] yogurt
Jackfruit Pullao (gluten free, vegetarian)
You will never Miss Meat again! A jazzy basmati rice creation of protein rich Jackfruit infused with fresh turmeric, bay leaves [&] Alka’s homemade Garam masala.
Garlicky Eggplant with Tamarind [&] Fennel (Gf, vegetarian)
Fresh eggplant and potatoes with cinnamon, pounded spice, fresh ginger [&] tomatoes flavored with dry fenugreek.[nbsp]
Assortment of chutneys and pappadums will be served but not demonstrated.[nbsp]
