Homemade Puff Pastry Workshop

Yes, you can make this at home! While not a fully laminated dough, this short cut version has plenty of “puff” for an endless variety of treats from appetizers to desserts. Students in class will prepare their own sheet of pastry to take home while also preparing these fun and fabulous recipes in the kitchen. From savory prosciutto and gruyere pinwheels and zucchini and goat cheese tartlets, to sweet almond-pear tartlets and flaky apples turnovers. We’ll have recipes to both serve and take.
Prosciutto and Gruyere Pinwheels are great to make ahead for casual or formal dinners.
Individual Zucchini and Goat Cheese Tartlets with Toasted Walnuts make a lovely brunch or lunch dish served with a salad or light soup.
Sun-Dried Tomato and Gorgonzola Puffs are a fun pick-up for last minute guests.
Salmon En Croute with Cucumber Sauce is an elegant surprise for dinner.
