Heather Maloney
The Massachusetts based singer-songwriter has received numerous accolades for her signature brand of endearing, powerful folk songs exploring themes of spirituality, transformation, and impermanence. Maloney has supported a myriad of acts including Lake Street Dive, Sean Colvin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Colin Hay, Gary Clarke Jr. and Rodrigo y Gabriella. On November 13th, Heather Maloney will release a holiday EP, Christmas Anyway (Signature Sounds). Maloney brings her “utterly gorgeous, visceral” (New York Times) voice to these songs which features two originals and four covers including the classic "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" and the Dar Williams fan-favorite "The Christians and The Pagans." Maloney reflects, "This is a bittersweet holiday album through and through. I love happy holiday music just as much as somber holiday music, but this year I wanted to hear holiday songs that contain and even celebrate both emotions.”
