Local composer and performer, PETER BLANCHETTE, will present a programme of Baroque and Renaissance music by J.S. Bach and others at the Florence Civic Center, corner of North Main and Park Streets in Florence.  If the weather is sunny and dry, it will take place on the lawn surrounding the porch.  Bring a chair or blanket to listen and enjoy the weather .  Otherwise, it will be presented in the Civic Center's commodious meeting room.  We recommend masks for indoor use.  The programme is FREE and everyone is welcome to attend.

The Club will use the occasion to announce plans for its fall music appreciation series, "Musical Potpourri".  The five-session series will take place on Wednesday mornings, beginning September 28th.  We shall explain how to sign up, but there is no obligation.
