Local composer and performer, PETER BLANCHETTE, will present a programme of Baroque and Renaissance music by J.S. Bach and others at the Florence Civic Center, corner of North Main and Park Streets in Florence.[nbsp] If the weather is sunny and dry, it will take place on the lawn surrounding the porch.[nbsp] Bring a chair or blanket to listen and enjoy the weather .[nbsp] Otherwise, it will be presented in the Civic Center's commodious meeting room.[nbsp] We recommend masks for indoor use.[nbsp] The programme is FREE and everyone is welcome to attend.

The Club will use the occasion to announce plans for its fall music appreciation series, "Musical Potpourri".[nbsp] The five-session series will take place on Wednesday mornings, beginning September 28th.[nbsp] We shall explain how to sign up, but there is no obligation.
