Join us for an interactive evening to view a special film, meet the director and share a community post-film discussion on all things GIFT.

What is the gift economy? What are the challenges of “living in the gift”? Why might that challenge be one worth taking?

Gift is a documentary that honors the unquantifiable gift of being alive. An intimate exploration of real-life gift economies, this film is a celebration of the imagination, a poetic accounting of the reasons we labor in service to our gifts, and an exploration of the creativity required to revolutionize the ways in which we relate to ourselves, one another, and the world.

Documentarian Robin McKenna will join us for a post-film, interactive discussion meant to facilitate our community in exploring news ways of expressing the principles introduced in the film.
