Ghost Ensemble creates experimental music that expands our perceptual horizons through shared immersive experience. Dissolving boundaries of genre, style, and scene, the ensemble collaborates widely with creators of contemporary chamber music, avant-garde jazz, and sound art, amplifying highly original musical voices to explore the most innovative and exciting music of our time. Since its 2012 inception, the ensemble has collaborated with a diverse range of composers who share a belief in music's potential for individual and community transformation, including Sarah Davachi, Catherine Lamb, Miya Masaoka, Phill Niblock, Pauline Oliveros, and Yasunao Tone.
