Whether you enjoy baking for your Oma or your Schatz, these regional treats served with a warm beverage will be sure to please.  We’ll start with Apfelkuchen, an apple cake that provides the ultimate warm hug. Translated from Barbara’s Oma, she is delighted to share this 100 year old family recipe with The Baker’s Pin family.  Then she’ll make a black forest cake, a traditional showstopper enjoyed the world over. Finally, she’ll finish with Kirschenmichel, a cinnamon-scented bread pudding loaded with cherries features a little chocolate and toasted almonds.
