GAGA MOVEMENT with Ana Harmon

Gaga dance classes are predicated on a deep activation of the body and physical sensations. Invitations are curated to increase awareness of and further amplify sensation, and rather than turning from one prompt to another, information is layered, building into a multisensory, physically enlightening experience. While many instructions are imbued with rich imagery, the research of Gaga is fundamentally physical.

Inside this shared research, the improvisational nature of Gaga’s explorations invites movers to develop deeper connections with their own movement, both inside of, and beyond, the studio.

About Ana:

Ana Harmon is a dance artist and movement advocate based in Massachusetts. A certified Gaga teacher since 2019, she creates accessible dance experiences for people across ages, bodies, and levels of experience. Ana brings six years of professional performance experience to her teaching, having trained with Boston Ballet and danced with contemporary and ballet companies internationally. Alongside her artistic practice, Ana has held leadership roles within Gaga, including International Program Manager and current Director of Content & the Gaga Online platform. She is currently teaching a Gaga course at Harvard University and served as part-time faculty at Boston Conservatory at Berklee from 2022–2025.
