Wow, what a menu Barbara has for us for this winter! We’ll be running this class as a hands-on workshop as well as a demonstration class with Zoom login option. You won’t want to miss this menu. The flavors are amazing and we’ll have so much fun rolling and shaping, sautéing and braising. There’s no better way to bring family and friends together than over a batch of homemade pasta.
These beautiful pastas may be a square or round pasta which we fill with a delectable mixture of ground pork, chard and prosciutto, then toss in a rosemary-scented brown butter and dust with Parmigiano-Reggiano.
“Bow Tie” or “Butterfly” is a fun, easy shape to prepare, simply dressed in a creamy sauce of Taleggio cheese, pancetta and thyme, and topped with toasty bread crumbs.
Fettuccine with Wild Mushrooms is a tender, rich dish that comes together quickly in this mushroom sauce that is sure to please.
Linguini with Braised Shrimp and Scallops with Pernod and Saffron Sauce
Linguini is another simple shape that will be dressed with tender braised shrimp and scallops, scented with Pernod and saffron.
Butternut Squash Lasagna with Sage-Scented Béchamel and Gruyere Cheese
This lasagna is ultra creamy and decadent.
