First Night Northampton has filled our Paradise City with a 12-hour, family-friendly festival of the arts since 1985. This signature New Year's Eve event features fireworks at 6:15pm and culminates in a traditional ball-raising from the roof of the Hotel Northampton at midnight, both of which can be seen from miles around. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit local arts enrichment.   In light of Covid-19 there will be many necessary changes to the celebration. Watch all of the performances from the comfort of your own space and the screen of your choice. All of the exciting shows, the fireworks, and the ball raising will be broadcast online and on television for FREE!   Catch your favorite acts without having to wait in line! Favorites like The Fawns, Kimaya Diggs, Tracy Grammer & Jim Henry as well as new performances from Mister G, Zoe Lemos, Priya Darshini + Max ZT, and great performances for KIDS to watch like ShowCircus Studio, Henry the Juggler, and The Yo-Yo Guy.   The lack of ticket sales this year will hamper our fundraising efforts to benefit arts enrichment activities.
