Come enjoy a community drumming and gyil (Ghanaian marimba) workshop with Valerie Naranjo! The workshop is part of our celebration of West African Music and Dance this week which culminates in a concert on Wednesday evening featuring students from WOFA, the West African Drum and Dance Ensemble at the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter School directed by Alpha Kabisko Kaba.

Valerie is offering a wonderful opportunity for us all to learn more in depth with her at this welcoming, inclusive workshop. Drums and gyili provided, although you are welcome to bring your own.
