The concert features music heard in St. Mark’s Cathedral, Venice, during the holiday seasons between 1540 and 1620. The antiphonal music of Willaert, the Gabrielis, Croce, de Rore, Monteverdi and others flourished there thanks to the superb acoustics and multiple balconies of its exquisite architecture. Directed by Sheila Heffernon, Da Camera Singers are celebrating their 51st year.
