We loved this class so much this summer, we needed to run it as a workshop too.[nbsp] Uncomplicated and straight forward, fruit cobblers, crisps and buckles pull together all that we love about summer baking.[nbsp] Bright, sweet and vibrant berries, peaches, apples and pears are wrapped in buttery dough.[nbsp] Fruits are baked until they burst their juices while the dough toasts and soaks up their sweetness.[nbsp] Each a little different, all completely wonderful, these classic desserts with get you wondering why we ever bothered with cupcakes to begin with.
Peach Melba Cobbler Peaches and raspberries are baked under a buttermilk biscuit crust.
Individual Apple-Pear Crisps with Juicy Pomegranate Arils kicks off your early fall baking repertoire with a blend of sweet and tart apples, creamy pears and glistening pomegranate seeds topped with a crunchy, aromatic old fashioned oatmeal topping.
Classic Blueberry Buckle is a fruit laden coffee cake in which the batter “buckles” under the weight of sweet bursting fruit, topped with a buttery streusel and light lemony glaze.
Ginger Scented Apple Pandowdy is a rustic dessert of gently roasted apples with a bit of fresh ginger under an arrangement of buttery puff pastry squares and finished with a homemade caramel drizzle.
Madagascar Vanilla Ice Cream We must round out this class with a super easy, ultra-creamy, no churn ice cream to top off and enjoy with any or all of these delightful desserts.
