Dr. Diana Alvarez is a singer-songwriter, poet, composer, documentary filmmaker, and scholar whose work embodies a queer Xicanx vision to dissolve oppression through art. Dr. Alvarez is working on an original album recording in 2019. She teaches voice, songwriting, and social justice workshops in Northampton, MA and beyond. Gracing CLICK with a musical performance that highlights Alvarez’s experience and talent, it will be a concert that showcases wonderful local musicianship!
