Cheo y Los Consentidos de la Casa at The Iron Horse on Saturday, March 21 2026
ICH BIN EIN SABICH pop-up serving the hot vegetarian Iraqi-jewish pita sandwich of your dreams from 5-8PM. 25% of their proceeds go to World Central Kitchen. For sandwich only (no concert, come in and order at the bar from 5-6PM).
Not your abuela’s salsa. This is funk-forward, four on the floor salsa delivered with maximal groove by some of NYC’s hottest Latin players. Cheo Pardo (Los Amigos Invisibles, Locobeach) serves up his latest groove-driven project borne out of love for vintage Latin soul and NYC dance floor bliss. Los Consentidos blend up salsa, boogaloo, cha-cha-cha, and bolero — and pump these rhythms and song traditions through wah-wah, spacey echoes, fuzzy guitar, and bass.
It is a deeply funky, rhythm driven salsa experience — the classics of Joe Cuba, Willie Colón, and Eddie Palmer reimagined with nods to nu-disco, cosmic groove, and a new generation of New Yorkers.
