This Passover, Northampton Jewish Community to Gather For Communal Seders In Historic Downtown Location

With the start of Passover on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 and Thursday, April 2, 2026, Chabad of Northampton invites the local Jewish community to join communal Seders, the traditional Passover meal. With the worrying rise of antisemitism, Passover’s message has an even greater resonance this year.

Hosted by Chabad of Northampton, the communal Seders are open to all Jewish residents and college students, regardless of prior Jewish knowledge or synagogue affiliation. The Seders will feature a delicious four course meal, hand-baked shmurah matzah, festive singing and the traditional four cups of wine.

“This year, as the Jewish community prepares to mark the Festival of our Freedom, our celebrations are increasingly meaningful,” said Rabbi Shmuel Kravitsky, director of Chabad of Northampton. “Passover reminds us that our traditions are what have kept our people strong and resilient for thousands of years, and we invite anyone who needs a place for Passover to Join us on April 1 and 2."

To reserve a spot at the community seder, please RSVP at ChabadNorthampton.com/passover26 or call 413-326-9004
