Canning, The Vegetable Chapter: Pickling and Preserving Workshop

Have you ever wanted to learn to can and just didn’t know how to get started? Don’t be intimidated by the process, this class will walk you through and demystify the process of canning and preserving, step by step. You’ll learn the science behind it and exactly which equipment you need. We’ll hold two classes, one on canning fruit, the second on pickling. This includes refrigerator pickling, and shelf-stable canning which you can enjoy all year-round. Take one or both classes and start putting your food up this year instead of freezing.
