Paradise City Dragon Boat Presents
Cancer Survivors: Stories of Hope and Resilience
An evening of live storytelling
Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.

The Moth producer
Susanne Schmidt

Everyone loves a good story. Gather around as area storytellers, selected and coached by The Moth producer, Susanne Schmidt, share their tales of living with cancer.

From absurdly funny to heartbreakingly personal, these are original and inspiring stories that need to be heard – and not just by other cancer survivors. This is an evening for our community to appreciate and applaud what individuals go through when cancer changes their lives.

June Millington

Come to be entertained, laugh, cry and cheer on our storytellers. This is a fundraiser for Paradise City Dragon Boat, the Northampton-based dragon boat racing team of cancer survivors and supporters. www.paradisedragons.org

The program will also feature a musical performance by June Millington, singer, songwriter, guitarist and co-founder/artistic director of the Institute for the Musical Arts in Goshen, MA. With her incredibly expressive vocals, dazzling guitar work and wonderfully crafted songs, she casts a spell over her audience.
