Tiffany Jewell is a local anti-bias/anti-racism educator and the author of This Book is Anti-Racist, a nonfiction young adult book that helps young people gain a deeper understanding of anti-racism in 20 chapters that spark introspection, reveal the origins of racism and give them the courage and power to undo it. In addition to her job as a teacher, she has designed curricula, given workshops, and presented at conferences on her work addressing social inequity through the lenses of race, class, immigration, and gender. She is also the cofounder of #AntiRacistBookClub, an Instagram campaign that recommends anti-racist books. This is her first book for children and young adults.
