"LET'S FUNK AND SWING", a benefit concert with all proceeds going to the Northampton Elks Club with all of the benevolent things they do, and to the Northampton Survival Center. The concert will feature two bands: OAKLAND STROKE, a 13 piece (6 horns) New England based Tower of Power funk band from 6 to 7 PM, followed by THE BAD NEWS JAZZ AND BLUES ORCHESTRA(BNJBO), a 19 member (13 powerful horns) swing band known as "The Busiest Swing Band in Western MA" The BNJBO has been voted 'Best Live Jazz' in the annual Hampshire Gazette Reader's Poll in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
