This year as part of Arcadia Folk Festival, Signature Sounds presents a Back Porch Songwriter Night featuring the songs of Paul Simon at The Academy of Music on Friday, August 23rd. This event (in addition to the festival hosted at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary on 8/24/24) will benefit the Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary.
This all-star tribute will celebrate Paul Simon’s music and career spanning 7 decades as one of the most influential singer-songwriters of our time. Line up announced soon.

With a career spanning seven decades, punctuated by phenomenal commercial success and critical acclaim, Paul Simon is among the most influential singer-songwriters of the rock era. As part of the folk-rock duo, Simon and Garfunkel, he influenced a generation of Americans with his songs. When Simon and Garfunkel split in 1970, Simon launched a successful solo career, marked by his fierce commitment to following an artistic path driven wherever his muse has taken him – a path that has led him to cultures and musical traditions from around the world. His songwriting has incorporated reggae, Peruvian folk songs, New Orleans brass bands, and traditional gospel choirs.

This event is participating in the Card to Culture Program! They will be offering 10 seats at a discounted price of $10 to any patrons with a valid EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card. To purchase these tickets, please visit or call the box office Tuesday through Friday between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Limit 4 tickets per cardholder per show.
