Pioneer Valley Ballet presents the 46th annual production of The Nutcracker at the Academy of Music in Northampton December 12-14, 2025. Roles are available for children ages 4-11, with no experience required. Audition times are as follows:

Friday, Sept. 19th 5:00pm-6:00pm: Ages 6-7
Saturday, Sept. 20th 11:00am-12:00am: Ages 8-9
Saturday, Sept. 20th 12:30pm-1:30pm: Ages 10-11
Ages 4 and 5 are not required to attend. You will be notified of their role via email.

On casting day, children will be taught a few short dance steps and be measured for a costume. Everyone who registers and attends will receive a role for one or more performances! To learn more and pre-register for casting, visit www.pioneervalleyballet.org/season/auditions/.
