Arts Night Out at The Barb & Olive, featuring Eric Lyons Payne.

Transplanted to Western Massachusetts from California as a teenager, Eric found his love for music and photography.  During a stint at Hampshire College, he left to follow his 20 year music career in drums, bass and guitar. His journey always brought him back to art. With inspiration sparked again by a cross country motorcycle trip, Eric returned to painting like he had never before.  Expanding his medium throughout his journey from pastels to oil, to digital art he is self-taught and learned along the way.   Drawn to the beauty found on the highway, from trucks, signs, lights and gas, he finds he always comes back to the water, trees and flowers.
They are his comfort food.
