Please try to come at 6:30 so we can get a food/drinks order in first. At Socrates Cafe, members jot down a question that lends itself to philosophical thinking and deep discussion (e.g., What is love? Is it immoral to hold certain beliefs? etc.). We typically pick two questions and explore ideas together. One of the organizers will help facilitate the evening, but the topics (and tangents) flow naturally and are generated by the group as a whole. Our meetups are relaxed, informal, and our members have very diverse backgrounds and interests.
