Join us at the only youth poetry slam in Western Mass!

The Academy of Music Theatre proudly presents the third annual Academy Regional Youth Poetry Slam on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the historic Academy stage in Northampton, MA. Hosted by the award-winning poet, Lyrical Faith, this unique event is the only youth poetry slam in Western Massachusetts and will feature the Pioneer Valley's most talented young poets competing for cash prizes. High school educators from Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden Counties nominate exceptional students by December 13, 2024, for a chance to participate in this live competition, with finalists attending a preparatory workshop in March.

Tickets are $10.00. Additionally, 10 free “Card to Culture” tickets are available to guests with valid EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare cards. Free tickets have a limit of 4 per cardholder and must be reserved by phone or in-person.
