Join us and local artist Martin Cain for Northampton Arts Night Out as we explore these questions and more with readings from their recent zine: A Flame to Light the Path, a Journey in Alchemy and Natural Magic. The culmination of years of study and personal practice, these poems and reflections present one earnest seeker’s take on the timeless arts of alchemy and natural magic. There is specific emphasis on seasonal rituals for trauma healing, magic as a philosophy of interdependence and liberation, and alchemical practices from Europe and East Asia. Martin Cain is a local writer, artist, herbalist, musician, and lifelong student. They explore past technologies and future possibilities as a means of living in the present to our highest collective potential.
