Fantaisie vs. verismo! Our main stage performance this season explores the theme of heartbreak from two drastically different storytelling styles.
Contrasting the realism of Puccini with the dazzling imagination of E.T.A. Hoffman and Jacques Offenbach, we will present two performances of Act III of La bohème and Act III of The Tales of Hoffman at the Northampton Center for the Arts.
