The Florence Civic and Business Association is having its 17th annual
Luminary Display on Saturday the 21th of December, all about Downtown
Florence and the outlying area. There will be a dessert social and public
gathering at the Civic Center on Park St. from 6:00 pm to Eight.
Festivities will include horse drawn hayrides around downtown Florence, a
bonfire, caroling, and live music with Tom and Corrie https://www.facebook.com/TomandCorrie/, lively
conversation and many laughs.

Luminaries are available at many Florence merchants Florence Barber Shop,
Doyle's Package Store, Florence Hardware, Cooper' s Corner, Florence Village
Florists, and Murduff's at a cost of ten dollars for a box of ten. Anyone
who would like to get involved and can't display luminaries at your own home
or business may purchase candles to be lit in the public parks and spaces
(such as Trinity Row Park, The Stanley Kolodzinski Memorial Park, and the
Sojourner Truth Park). You can do so by calling Robert Ross, Committee
Chair, at 320-2306. All proceeds of this event will benefit the ongoing
renovations of the Florence Civic Center.
